DKRFC are looking for a Sports Therapist, or similar, to join them working with our senior rugby teams. This position requires attendance at training sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as match days with our 1st team on a Saturday.

Essential:

Sports Therapist / Sports Massage Therapist / Physiotherapist / Sports Rehabilitator

Member of STA/STO/SST/HCPC or relevant body

Own insurance cover

Emergency first aid qualification (ideally RFU PHICIS Level 2 or similar)

Job Description:

Attend training sessions Tuesday, Thursday and match days on a Saturday

Injury assessment and rehabilitation

Sports massage and soft tissue work for maintenance and injuries

Taping and strapping skills essential

Pitch side first aid at match days and training sessions

Liaise with coaching and management staff in regard to players and injuries

Management of first aid supplies and equipment

Rugby experience preferred but not essential

Must be reliable and confident working in a sports team environment

Renumeration and expenses to be agreed
