We are nearly halfway through the season and going well. Both our 1st XV and Ladies are top of their respective leagues! But how are individual players performing?

The website has a system that takes the information from the official RFU Match Card and transfers it to individual players. This information is put on by our club Statistician and announcer Ian Bratt.

Some of you might have noticed a lack of announcements on Saturday, this was not by design! The outside speakers have gone south, so the club organised a replacement stand alone speaker. This new speaker was working on Friday, I can vouch for that, we had to listen to DK crooner and DoR Neil ‘Sinatra’ Shill all morning! On Saturday, switched it on and nothing! Not even the intervention of Jonathan ‘Give it a Slap’ Evans would get it working.

Back to the stats!

The information is split into 3 categories, Performance, Matches and Discipline.

This shows all scores by the player, the average appearances/minutes per Try and the percentage Wins, Losses and Draws.

This section shows the number of appearances, the number of times he has appeared in the line-up, number of starts and substitutions.

This shows the number of Yellow and Red cards.

It also gives a graphical view of their season

And it list the matches played in, you can also look at previous seasons. If you do go back to previous season you need to be aware that we have only been adding stats from the start of this season.

So how do you get to the pages:

TEAMS – DUDLEY KINGSWINFORD (This is the 1st XV) or DUDLEY KINGSWINFORD LADIES. This will take you to the team’s profile page. Then click on PLAYERS, choose the player you want to view.

Below is the Stats page for Club Captain Steff Shillingford (Impressive!)
